Warehouse Manager – Telford - Permanent

L & C Consulting are recruiting for a brand new, permanent Warehouse Manager to join and help lead a small team of Warehouse and Ops team. This permanent post will suit a reliable, hardworking and flexible individual with strong man-management skills.

Working days, Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:00) and reporting into the MD, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Run a small team of warehouse / Despatch operatives and office staff, including workflow management and efficiencies, checking work, monitoring attendance etc
• Stock Management and Allocation
• H & S & general housekeeping
• Staff training, development and performance management
• Hands on support of both warehouse, despatch and other functions

Previous warehouse management / supervisory experience is essential.   You will be well organised, motivated, IT literate and have a logical approach to your work as well as having a stable, consistent work history.

This is a hands-on role, and you will need to be happy to ‘muck in’ when needed so you will need to be physically fit.

The site is in Central Telford, so is accessible from Shrewsbury, Shifnal, Wolverhampton, Perton etc

Alternative job titles would include: Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Shift Leader, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Despatch Manager etc
