Overview & Purpose

Are you a dynamic and strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a Senior Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Global Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organisation's operations run smoothly and efficiently at every level. You will lead your teams with a clear vision to improve operational efficiency, service, and flexibility while reducing business costs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve the Warehouse Operational function, enhancing processes and output.
  • Develop and implement operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Support and coordinate business re-design initiatives to meet or exceed business needs.
  • Foster a positive and motivational work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Operational Strategy and Planning - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop operational improvement plans, driving profitable growth and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with the Transport function to ensure logistics meet service levels and budget targets, achieving operational performance goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis - accurately gather, record, monitor, and report operational KPIs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on operational trends, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare, manage, and oversee the Operations budget, delivering cost-efficient solutions on time and within budget.

Person Requirements

  • Proven record of senior leadership and P&L accountability within warehousing, operations, and logistics roles.
  • Confident leader and decision-maker, able to articulate and deliver the operational vision, bringing the team along with you.
  • Track record of fostering a culture of Team Spirit, Empowerment & Trust, Accountability, and a Mindset for Change.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
