The Business Method Engineer is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting reliable, efficient and integrated production solutions to Operations, to enable industrial excellence.


Main Responsibilities

  • Test & Develop Core ARP solutions in line with Broughton Industrial System
  • Interface between ARP Core Team & wider ME e.g. Work Prep, Config, Lineside & PPE
  • Interface between ARP Core Team & other functions e.g. Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations & Quality
  • Document best practice for Wing Assembly in ARP
  • Understand and challenge solutions adopted by the ARP team
  • Identify any gaps and suggest improvements
  • You will be looking at methods, processes and documents and ensuring they are aligned to the central organisation
  • Cascading any new methods into the business
  • Supporting with SAP systems and acting as first line of investigation on any root causes and proposing a solution
  • Don't need a programmer but someone who has experience in SAP and understanding background data
  • Sustain, harmonize, develop, distribute and train on Processes, Methods, Tools, Competences and Data Management.
  • Coaching, communication & facilitation with the operational teams.
  • Leading Manufacturing part of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects including development of new PLM solution for E2E Digital Continuity (Engineering to Shop floor)

Experience Required

  • Previous knowledge and experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous knowledge and experience within an aerospace background is highly desirable.
  • Motivated and self-driven with the ability to work autonomously when required, whilst being a strong team player.
  • SAP experience and understanding is essential.
  • Keen to develop knowledge of wider Business processed & Functions
