Our client is a national Tier 1 main contracting client who operate within the Water, Highways, Rail, and Energy sectors. They have an opportunity for a Senior SHE Advisor to join their team on an existing long-term design and build asset maintenance water treatment framework for their client United Utilities.

Within this role you will support the SHE functions, provide, and support SHE solutions and enable the Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System.

This role is based within the North West region with local offices in Warrington and Manchester. You will require a flexible approach with the requirement to do site visits along with some home working. You will be joining a growing team with a strong reputation in the UK Construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Support and Influence Contract Leadership Team, Clients, and other Stakeholders in compliance with the SHE Management System and Contract SHE Performance.
• Support and where required deliver training, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System.
• Coach and support the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Contractors in the delivery of the Contract SHE requirements.
• Actively engage with the Contract SHE Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
• Actively support the investigation of all unplanned events and close out of assurance findings, ensuring lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management System.
• Support the timely reporting, analysis, and use of SHE data to support and influence the Contract Leadership Team and where required support the development and implementation of data-based improvement plans.

Experience

• Previous SHE experience in Construction industry.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or IEMA Associate Qualification (Course) or equivalent.
• Tech. IOSH or AIEMA or equivalent.
