Senior Electrical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a nationwide multidisciplinary consultancy in their offices in Winchester. The successful candidate will join their building services team and provide highly technical solutions to a range of clients across all sectors of the built environment industry.

Role responsibilities for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer include:

• Carrying out electrical building services design
• Helping mentor and develop the more junior level engineers
• Design systems for a range of projects using CAD and Revit
• Producing electrical design calculations, as well as reports, drawings, and specifications for RIBA design stages
• Work alongside and develop working relationships with structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors.
• Take part in project group and technical meetings, whilst carrying out construction stage monitoring duties.

Requirements for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer include:

• Good experience with an electrical building services design role
• Accredited relevant degree within an electrical or building services engineering degree
• Achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status
• Experience with specialist software's such as CAD and Revit
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
