As a talented Maths Teacher, you’ll be no stranger to problem-solving. But if you’re looking for an exciting new permanent role that offers both a challenge and reward, why not let us solve this one for you…?

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join a mixed SEN School in Hampshire. This school is centred around making a positive, lifelong difference to the lives of their pupils and caters for children aged 7-16, most of who have high functioning ASD.

As a Maths Teacher in this ambitious and committed school, you will be part of a team of skilled teachers, therapists, and professionals who work together to ensure each child has a learning programme tailored to their specific needs.

You will enjoy creating a stimulating learning environment that engages pupils in Maths, working with them to develop strategies to overcome barriers to learning.

You will need to have a passion for teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4, with strong classroom and behavioural management skills. You will also ideally have SEN experience, although this is not essential.

This is a permanent Maths Teacher role starting in September, although it may be offered sooner, or on a temporary basis, for the right candidate

Skills and requirements:

  • QTS
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A DBS on the update service, or willing to apply
  • Solid background in teaching Maths
  • SEN experience (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong classroom and behavioural management skills
  • Inspirational, driven and passionate teacher
  • Available to start in September, or sooner.

Benefits:

  • Daily rate of up to £200 per day
  • Holiday pay
  • Contributory pension after 12 weeks
  • Dedicated consultant to support you in your new role.

At Red Lester we specialise in supporting schools to find the right teachers within the primary, secondary, FE and SEN sectors.
