The Complex Care Team are looking for a Band 6 Community Nurse to support their team for a boy in Stoke on Trent on a 3 month placement. We require children’s nurses with skills in medicine administration, enteral feeding, seizure recognition and management and community experience. • Band 6 – Community Nurse
• Working: Nights & Twilight shifts
• Hours: Twilight to be negotiated with the family, Night – 22:00 – 07:00
• Location: Stoke on Trent
• Experience working with children, and/or nurses with ITU experience
• Management of tracheostomies, ventilators and complex seizures.
• Driving Licence essential
• Start as soon as possible for 12 weeks
Additional Information
• Patient is epileptic
• Needs enteral feeding and meds
• Displays uncontrolled movements which seem like lashing out but he’s not
Payrate
Day: P-£24.00 /U-£26.00 p/h
Night/Sat: P-£30/U-£35 p/h
Sun/BH: P-£38/U£40
