Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

This role is for a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Wavertree, is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This full-time position, starting in September, requires a candidate with a strong background in supporting pupils within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Assist in planning and implementing educational activities and interventions.
• Offer personalised support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
• Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting pupils in a school setting is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic educational environment.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
