About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about sports and dedicated to inspiring young minds? Astro Education are partnering with an Extra-curriculum, Holiday Camp provider who are looking for Leaders, TA’s, Sports Coaches and Apprentice TA’s to join them during the busy 6 weeks holidays. We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Leaders, TA’s, Sports Coach to join our vibrant team. As a vital member of our staff, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to students while fostering a love for physical activity and teamwork.

Holidays Clubs run from July 22nd to August 30th.

Full Time for 6 weeks.

Various Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford

Various Positions: Leaders, Sports Coach, TA’s

Interviews being held through-out June. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, fun sports sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of students across various age groups primarily aged 7 to 13.

• Promote inclusivity, sportsmanship, and fair play while encouraging students to reach their full potential.

• Assist in organizing and coordinating inter-school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.

• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate sports and physical education into the broader school curriculum.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children and young people, preferably in an educational setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.

• A positive and proactive approach to teamwork, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
