SEND Team Manager - Greater Manchester LA
3 month initial contract - Likely to be extended
Rate of pay: £450 - £500 per day - negotiable.
Hybrid Working - 2 days a week in the office
What we need from you:
- Lead and manage the work of SEN Casework Officers by making sure that everyone is working in the same way to the same goals, to meet statutory requirements and relevant timescales.
- To champion and promote the welfare of children and young people, and ensure that priority is given to safeguarding.
- Prepare cases and represent schools and the Council at SEN and Disability Tribunals and at the Disagreement Resolution Service.
- To actively contribute to local, regional and national developments within SEND
Must Have:
- Previous experience within A Local Authority is essential for this role!
- Knowledge of the range of provision available locally to meet the assessed needs of children and young people with SEN
