Sinclair Group are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a Permanent role in North West 

Due to our clients continued growth, increasing opportunities and improved relationships with valued clients, Our client is now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be working within our commercial team, tendering for new works and managing all financial aspects of groundworks and civil engineering, primarily within our residential division.

Key responsibilities include

• Assessment of Completed Works on Site
• Production & Submittal of Interim Payment Applications
• Pricing & Agreeing Variation Orders with Clients
• Measuring and Conducting Quantity Take-offs and Produce Bills of Quantities for Tender Submissions
• Cost Management of Ongoing Projects
• Review Contractor Invoices to Verify Quantities and Costs
• Contract Administration
• Management of Commercial Team Subordinates

The successful candidate will meet the following minimum essential requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.
• Proven Experience in a Quantity Surveyor Role for a minimum of 5 Years.
• Excellent knowledge of Groundworks and Civil Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to form strong working relationships both internally and externally.
• Experience allocating work to subcontractors and negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
• Experience preparing and analysing costing for tenders.
• Experience preparing Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) Reports.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence

In return, the successful candidate will be offered a highly competitive renumeration package including performance bonus and a company vehicle. This package is negotiable depending on experience.
