Multi Skilled Operative - Permanent

Prestige Skills are currently seeking mobile multi-skilled operatives to work on a mixture of reactive and project works across in the North West.

The position is working on Commercial offices and Operational Railway properties across the North West region. You will be working alongside an experienced management team.

The chosen candidate will be required to attend site in a timely manner, first time fix where possible or report back to the reactive team with the relevant information required to complete the works. The candidate will be expected to complete and send over all contractual paperwork before leaving site.

This is a maintenance role, and you will be responsible for but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

* Building partition/stud walls
* Replacing floorboards and joists
* Fitting skirting boards and architraves
* General minor Plumbing works
* General Groundworks
* Replacing rotten windowsills, assessing roof leaks, and carrying out minor repairs.
* Replacing Doors and Door Furniture inc locks, hinges, handles etc.
* Decorating
* Diagnosing and rectifying faults within requests and providing a conscientious service to the client.
* Site Supervision
* Ensuring that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards
* Supporting all trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service
* Responding swiftly to all emergency situations and resolving them efficiently
* Enhancements - On-Call

You will need:

* Must be competent in construction skills
* Full current driving license
* To undertake a Drug and Alcohol and Medical Examination

Desirable attributes:

* A trade specific qualification minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a construction specific topic i.e. plumbing, Carpentry etc
* PTS Card (Personal Track Safety) would be advantageous

Rate: £26,000.00 to £30,000.00
