*About the Role:*

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This role involves working closely with children with autism and complex learning needs, providing the support and encouragement they need to thrive in an educational setting.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Provide one-on-one and group support to children with autism and complex learning needs.

- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).

- Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the children's physical, emotional, and social development.

- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the students.

- Participate in training and development sessions to stay current with best practices in special education.

*Qualifications:*

- Previous experience working with children with autism and complex learning needs is essential.

- Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field are preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
