£50,000 - £55,000/annum plus car allowance

A privately owned, award winning Manchester based Contractor are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager with excellent technical knowledge for a £50m residential apartment scheme in Manchester which is now on site and has a completion date of late 2025.

Working closely with the Project Director and Design team, this role will focus on managing site compliance, creating audit trails and assist in managing all construction processes on site. This role is critical to ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Oversee all on-site technical activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Process-Driven Management: Implement and maintain systematic, process-driven approaches, ensuring consistent quality and compliance.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all site activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Conduct regular compliance audits and maintain thorough audit trails.
  • Design Management Assistance: Collaborate with and assist the design team to ensure that project designs are feasible, practical, and align with site conditions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all work meets the required standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong technical background with a thorough understanding of construction processes and design.
  • Excellent knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing audit trails and ensuring site compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
