Accounts Assistant - up to £28,000pa

We have a fantastic opportunity for a reputable industrial services client looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team on a full time permanent basis. This role is based in Birkenhead and will be full time on site however there is potential for hybrid working after 6 months within the business.
Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from £25,000pa - £28,000pa.
Responsibilities of the role as a Accounts Assistant:
- Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
- Monitor and reconcile staff expenses.
- Assisting in producing invoices, statements, reconciling accounts and allocating payments.
- Assisting with ensuring timely payment and dealing with any queries.
- Assisting in all aspects of raising PO's, posting supplier invoices, reconciling accounts to statements.
- Assisting with Payroll & Pensions.
- Assisting with quarterly VAT return preparation and submission.
Essential requirements of the role:
- Knowledge of HMRC CIS & DRC Vat schemes.
- Basic accounting software experience.
- Strong excel knowledge and experience.
- Previous experience within a finance role / team.
- CRM system experience would be beneficial.
