HRGO are recruiting for a machine/saw operative to join our manufacturing client in Ellesmere Port. You will be responsible for operating metal cutting machinery to ensure the accurate and efficient cutting of metal materials according to specifications.
Job Title: Saw/Machine Operative
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Monday-Friday 3 shift rotation (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am), 30 mins paid break
Pay: £12.50, plus shift allowance up to £14.50 on nights
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Responsibilities
- Verify stock to work order requirements
- Set up saw
- Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting
- Marking parts with identification
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Operate Counterbalance FLT to move products to warehouse
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- A valid Counterbalance License is essential, with previous experience
- Ability to work all shifts required on 3 shift rotating pattern
- Able to work individually as well as in a team
