Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Maidstone, Kent.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £40k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a highly respected UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy with a strong presence in the South of England. They are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be working on predominantly Commercial and Domestic sites carrying out the full range of surveying duties in line with HSG 264 guidelines and producing detailed reports upon completion of surveys.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Gillingham, Canterbury, Maidstone, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Epsom, London, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Uckfield, Chichester, Hove, Brighton, Fareham, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Petersfield, Alton, Basingstoke.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 and / or RSPH equivalent qualification.
" Extensive experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, working hands on as a surveyor.
" Familiar with TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Able to communicate efficiently.
The Role:
" Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Carrying out sampling of ACMs on site.
" Bagging and labelling suspected ACM samples correctly, sending to the laboratory for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
