Industry: Civil Engineering

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week (nights required on occasion)

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

Delivery of carriageway resurfacing schemes to budgets, schedules and quality standards,
Liaise with Operatives, internal departments and the client,
Ensure adherence to health and safety, deliver briefings and undertake audits,
Develop reports and presentations.

Experience:

Must have previous experience of project management and knowledge of highways/ civil works, and understanding of the Island network is an advantage.
Must have a good understanding of engineering principles and surfacing/surface dressing,
Must have a good level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems,
Must have a full driver’s licence,
Must have good communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative, to deadlines as well as part of a team.

Salary: £40 - 45,000 per annum (PAYE)
