Out of Hours Breakdown Supervisor

Remote working

Permanent / Part time                                                          

23 HPW / Saturday 6:30am to 6:30pm

Sunday 6:30am to 6:30pm

Bank holiday cover 6:30am to 6:30pm

1 Flexible hour per week for Admin

(Training at our Head office, Dordon, B78 1SZ, for minimum of 6 – 8 weeks so flexibility required)

We have a fantastic opportunity working as a remote/homeworking Out of Hours Breakdown Supervisor at our Head Office, working for Europe’s leading company in our field, the position is split into 2 key roles; To supervise the OOH Team remotely, and To oversee & ensure smooth operational flow of all out of hours reported incidents within agreed timescales, whilst ensuring compliance to Petit Forestier key fundamentals.

Out of Hours Breakdown Supervisor Role

  • To manage the team to work effectively from home
  • Monitor calls to ensure standard of practice is kept and adhered to
  • To manage and plan shift rota, holidays and sickness and arrange cover
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings with members of the team
  • To manage the depot on call rota spreadsheet up to date
  • To provide data and KPIs about the incident held by the OOH team
  • To communicate information and updates from Depots and Management to the team
  • To control allocate and manage all incidents through to timely conclusion from the
  • To understand and exceed customer expectations
  • Always ensure customers have a full understanding of events and estimated time scales
  • To support other team members and other colleagues to ensure continuation of service
  • To ensure cost effective repairs within time scales.
  • Constantly update in house computer systems with progress and incident specific information
  • To work closely with all Petit Forestier workshops and rental depots to support the operation
  • Ensure at all times that potential recharges are identified and recorded at the earliest possible time
  • Where ever possible for recharges confirm and agree acceptance with customer prior to continuation of incidents
  • Ensure the highest level of professionalism at all times
  • Be mindful of others and the tasks you are requesting comply with all current H&S legislation
  • To ensure all open incidents are effectively communicated to all parties on shift change

What are we looking for?

Key Technical Skills:

*  To be fully versed in operating all in house computer systems

*  Good operating level in Excel and Microsoft office based systems

Essential:

*  Softs skills to manage a 100% remote-working team

*  Excellent Interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communication internally and externally

*  Ability to work remotely

*  Systematic approach to problem solving.

*  Good to excellent geographical knowledge of the UK and Northern & Southern Ireland

*  Excellent phone manner

*  Ability to remain calm in a pressurised environment

Desirable:

*  Previous experience of Rental Procedures

*  Working knowledge of HGV operating constraints/legislation

*  Previous experience of the Commercial vehicle Industry
