Maintenance Engineer

Armstrong Nield are recruiting for Maintenance Engineers to work on a distribution centre in Speke.
Working alongside the site operations teams and reporting to the facilities and maintenance manager. Ideal candidates would have a facilities background as they would be working on Warehouse internals such as Racking, Dock Doors, Dock Lifting Systems, Sprinklers, Lighting, Plumbing and General Repair Works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set facilities standards and ensure they are maintained
- Planned maintenance schedules are followed and actioned effectively
- To work within the facilities teams to resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment, assisting with quotes and project work
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
Ideal skills and Experience:
- Served a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all at Level 3)
- Good communication skills working within a team
Working hours are 40 per week, day shifts Monday to Friday.
Salary is up to £36k per annum.
