Job: Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Estimator

Salary: up to £42k

Area: Sheffield

Ascend Talent is seeking a VDA to join an accident repair centre based in Yorkshire. As a VDA you will be responsible for all damage assessment, negotiation & customer liaison aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.

Responsibilities: As a Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be responsible for;

• Assessing damage to vehicles and identifying the correct repair methods.
• Generating and tracking estimates using industry standard platforms and liaising with customers.
• You will have communication with multiple stakeholders across the business internally & extrenally.
• The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail to accurately assess damage to vehicles.
• With use of the relevant repair and bodyshop system to create and track estimates.

Experience/Skill:

• Background of VDA or Estimator role
• Experience using Audatex
• 1-3 years experience is required
• Negotiation and communication skills
• ATA qualifications desirable
