An exciting name in Semiconductors seeks an Embedded Software Engineer with several years industrial experience to work on the development of embedded firmware for silicon products.  Competitive salary up to C£80K depending on your level of experience + Hybrid working + Shares. 

This innovative Company seeks an Embedded Software Engineer with the following:

• A Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Strong experience in designing, coding and debugging in C and/or C++ in an embedded environment.
• Experience in implementing or using RTOS.
• Knowledge of 32 bit processor architectures and computer system architectures.
• Developing under different platforms, ideally Linux and Windows.
• Interfacing to hardware and peripherals such as JTAG, SPI, 12C/SMBus.

In this Embedded Software role you will develop, test and maintain embedded firmware for the company’s range of silicon products; ensuring robustness of code by implementing and running a software test suite as well as undertaking software design and support for the silicon design infrastructure.
