Safe operation of Press Brake machinery and other generalist engineering production tasks.

Basic pay
£13.00ph - £13.50ph depending on experience
Shifts
Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Fridays 8am-12.30pm
Breaks
15-minute morning break, half hour lunch break
Overtime
1.5x basic rate – regularly available, overtime is totally optional
Holidays
Accrual (21 days + BH once permanent)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role
Production of steel items for company product range within a high-quality production environment.
Use of press brake machinery throughout shift.
Reading and interpreting engineers drawings to specification.
Use of generalist hand and power tools where necessary.
Adhering to company health and safety requirements at all times.
Individual responsibilities
Safe operation press brake machinery
Responsible for your own output and meeting daily company targets
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Previous experience working press brake machinery in a fabrication environment.
Ability to work from technical drawings.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Good level of verbal and written English
