Shift Patterns: Monday-Friday
PAYE Rate: £25,000 - £28,000 p/a
Hours: 7am – 3pm
Igloo has an exciting opportunity for a team of vehicle builders to work on a vehicle build for one of our customers based in Speak, Liverpool. You will be responsible for building 4x4 utility vehicles and fitting modifications onto the vehicle.
The Role:
- Helping to build and fit specific modifications onto a vehicle
- Completing and filling in job cards
- Making sure that all the materials, parts and tools are fit for purpose when carrying out the job
- Using hand tools and basic cutting machinery to modify and alter the vehicle and part
- You will need to familiarise yourself with manufacturer systems and keep yourself up to date with any updates or changes to these systems.
- You will be given the opportunity to complete online training prior to completing practical training session.
What kind of person are we looking for?
- Successful candidates will need to have a minimum of a relevant level 2 qualification
- Good understanding of basic 12-volt vehicle wiring systems
- Previous experience of working within a garage or workshop
- You must have an excellent eye for detail and a mentality of “right first-time”
- Advanced electrical knowledge is preferred but not essential
