Civil Engineering Project Manager 

Location: UK wide (Worcester Head Office)

Salary: Circa £50k - £75k plus company car (Ford Ranger pickup truck)
 

This is homebased role travelling to sites across the UK and Worcester head office.

A civil engineering company who specialises in flood defence are now looking for a Civil Engineering to join their team.

We need your experience working with UK contractors managing Civil Engineering projects, inculding estimating and design, to contribute to impressive growth achieved over the last 12 months. 

Purpose of Role – Civil Engineering Project Manager
You will:

• Propose and develop detailed designs.
• Undertake feasibility assessments and site inspections.
• Prepare and implement project plans.
• Research and provide estimates for projects.
• Monitor and optimise safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Make recommendations and / or present alternative solutions to problems.
• Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, setting programs and control of project accounts etc.).

Candidate requirements – Civil Engineering Project Manager

The ideal candidate must come from the construction industry as a Civil Engineer.  You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Ideally be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural or similar but not essential.  
• Industry experience in Earthworks, ground support, reinforced concrete projects
• Strong design software skills, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation for permanent and temporary works solutions
