Validation and Verification Engineer

Our client is searching for a senior contractor with experience of working on Verification and Validation in the automotive or aerospace sectors to join them on a 12 month contract basis on a hybrid working pattern, with the client HQ near Oxford the location for 2-3 days per week.
Managing Verification and Validation activities on major programmes in automotive or heavy industry, the succesful candaidate will lead the activities throughout the programme.
Defining a design verification plan (DVP), advising on optimum test-asset quantities and scheduling tests will be key activities. Supporting the test engineers and test operations manager , and ensuring development and sign off testing activities are completed to project timelines, adapting to changing availability of parts and facilities and recovering from unforeseen issues to minimise risk to the programme will be crucial.
The role will suit individuals with a passion for electrification or cutting-edge engineering and is seeking a strong team-environment, within a high-paced culture.
