Are you passionate about physical education and dedicated to shaping the next generation of athletes and healthy individuals? We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated PE Teacher to join our team in the vibrant community of Teignmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical activity, skill development, and sportsmanship.
  • Plan and organize a diverse range of activities to cater to students' varying interests and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported to participate.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Physical Education.
  • Strong knowledge of sports and physical fitness principles, with the ability to teach a variety of activities and sports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for promoting health and wellbeing among young people.
  • Previous experience working with children and teenagers in an educational setting is desirable.
