Senior Geotechnical Engineer

My client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, preferably holding a degree in civil engineering along with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical discipline as well as having chartered status with the ICE confirmed or close to attainment.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong academic background with a relevant civil engineering degree, ideally complemented by an MSc or equivalent.
• Proficiency in finite element modelling and analysis, particularly with software such as PLAXIS2D/3D.
• Familiarity with general numerical software like Geostudio, Repute, Wallap, etc.
• Chartered status or nearing attainment of Chartered status.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven project management skills with an understanding of the engineering consultancy and design markets.
• Track record of successful geotechnical design projects.
• Application of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and technical abilities with a knack for developing and leading geotechnical design teams.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage effectively with clients.
• Successful commercial track record in negotiating and managing projects.
• Possession of a valid UK driving license.
