Are you a seasoned Registered Manager seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Look no further! We are actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to join our thriving team in Maiden Bradley, Wiltshire.

In your role as Registered Manager, you will lead and manage the team in the everyday running of residential care to achieve the best outcomes and provide a safe and secure environment for all, whilst adhering to Ofsted and the Quality Care Standards.

Hours of Work: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, 9 am - 5 pm)

*4 day working week after 3 months service

Registered Manager Requirements:
  • Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Child Care (England) qualified or above
  • Attained Level 3 CCYP
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in working with children, preferably in a residential environment
  • Experience of working with and managing challenging behaviour
  • High level of working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children's Act and Quality Care Standards
  • Experience of dealing with attachment and trauma
  • Extensive experience of working within Safeguarding and Medication environments
  • Proven track record of managing people and performance
  • Proven track record of dealing with conflict, managing learning difficulties
  • Experience of managing relationships at multiple levels and with local authorities
  • Proven track record of working and managing conflicting priorities and challenges
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Takes accountability for own training and continual professional development
  • Ability to work across and support the management of a 24/7 operation

Meet the Organisation: Who We Are and What We Do

We support vulnerable young people aged 7-18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). This means that the young people we support may have experienced challenging or traumatic upbringings and may have difficulties with anxiety, mental health or in some cases self-harm.

Kates Bench Farm is an accommodation with a capacity of 4, providing support for both girls and boys aged between 10 -18 with Social Emotional Mental Health challenges (SEMH). The setting is in a rural location in Wiltshire, we offer trauma informed holistic approach to support which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment in which the young people are able to achieve their full potential.

The accommodation is based in Maiden Bradley, a small village outside Warminster and is within commuting distance from Bath, Salisbury, Bristol and surrounding towns and villages.
