Job Description: We are looking for dedicated Steel Erectors to assemble and install steel structures in various construction projects. As a Steel Erector, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, lifting and aligning steel beams, securing metal structures, and ensuring the overall safety and stability of the erected steelwork. Attention to detail, precision, and a strong focus on safety are paramount in this role.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Erect and secure steel beams, columns, and other structural elements
• Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to position steel components
• Bolt or weld steel parts together using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
• Inspect and ensure the stability and safety of the erected steel structures
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times

  
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Erector in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of steel construction techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Proficiency in operating cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
• Welding certification and rigging experience are highly desirable
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• CSCS card needed 
• DBS MOD needed
