Location: Tilbury, Essex

Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8:00-16:30

Pay Rate: £11.74 p/h

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated Compound Operatives to join our client’s team at their distribution centre on the Tilbury Docks. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Movement: Moving vehicles around a large compound.
• Vehicle Preparation: Removing tow eyes and fitting locking wheel nuts to vehicles.
• Vehicle Inspection: Conducting inspections prior to vehicle movement to identify and report any damages.

Experience & Qualifications:

• A keen eye for detail.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly.
• Good communication skills.
• Must hold a full UK or EU driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
