HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Appleton Thorn.

The HGV Class 1 Driver will be placed on an ongoing position.

The Role:

As a HGV Class 1 driver you will be responsible for the delivery goods to stores across the region. Due to the nature of the work you must be confident with reversing into loading bays. There will be on average 2-5 drops per run.

There will also be RDC work involved within this position, which will involve transporting general haulage goods to RDC's across the UK. The HGV Class 1 driver must be happy with doing both types of work.

The HGV Class 1 Driver will require:

- C+E entitlement on their licence
- Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
- No more than 6 points on licence / minimum 2 years experience
- Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
- Previous store delivery work would be advantageous

Hours:

The start time will vary between 05:00am - 07:00am. The HGV Class 1 Driver will work between 50-55 hours over a 5 day period.

Job Type: Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £17.00 per hour
