Your new company
My client is leading the market for mass growth plans and pipeline work up to 2028. They are people focused and want the best for the employees. They are looking for an L&D Manager to help the employees with their progression within the company.

Your new role
You will be joining the People function team and plays an important part in contributing to the business's people strategy. Working closely with colleagues and subject matter experts from across the business, the Professional Development Manager provides an in-house learning service that is primarily focussed on continuous professional development and specialist training aligned to the various professions throughout the business. You will be responsible for but not limited to; training and learning needs analysis. Design, delivery and evaluation of internal learning solutions. Commissioning external providers of vocational and professional qualifications. Managing and co-ordinating apprenticeships. Commissioning external providers of specialist training. Enrolments on training programmes and memberships of professional bodies and career pathway mapping to support development, progression and succession planning. You will be mapping each role in the business. These solutions must support colleagues to reach competence in a current role or to plot a course along their career path.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have to be people focused and want the best for your colleagues. You need to be confident in your findings and delivery of the role. Be able to build strong relationships with your colleagues and external sources. You will be Level 5 qualification in a related field OR significant and substantial experience as a learning and development professional. IT literate, time management and preferably have knowledge of C&P industry qualifications.
