The Compensation and Benefits Administrator based in Northampton, works within the UK Compensation and Benefits team and supports in the administration of employee benefits and company cars. The focus of the role is to ensure data accuracy and compliance, timely processing of benefits and supporting in responding to queries.

The client is a Global Logistics Organisation based in Northampton.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Compensation and Benefits Administrator are;

  • Day to day benefits administration - including data management on benefits portal, maintenance of private medical and dental insurance membership data and processing of Cycle to Work applications
  • Supporting on team queries through the ticketing system snow - including benefit and company car queries
  • First line response to queries, problem solving but escalating to team members where appropriate
  • Provision of vouchers, long service certificates, badges and awards to site
  • Processing compensation and benefits invoices

Other ad hoc administration to support the Compensation & Benefits team including but not limited to; data auditing, mail merges and ad hoc letter writing, liaising with colleagues to resolve queries, data gathering, mass emails

Profile

The successful Compensation and Benefits Administrator will have;

  • Understanding of employee benefits and what a compensation and benefits team does
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and employee benefit
  • A keen attention to detail with the ability to work at pace whilst also maintaining accuracy
  • Intermediate Excel skills - particularly vlookups/manipulation of large data sets
  • Numerical ability
  • Quick learner with an inquisitive mind
  • Organisation skills - keeps appropriate records and can manage time to meet deadlines and deliver timely responses to queries
  • The ability to work in accordance to GDPR and maintain high levels of confidentiality at all times
  • Works as part of a team, supporting others whilst taking accountability for own deliverables
