We have an exciting role available in our Translation team at ICS. As a Quality Assurance Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality translations across a wide variety of text types and languages. You will take into account any specific requirements for each task while conducting meticulous checks to identify potential issues with elements such as formatting, omissions and punctuation.

You’ll work alongside a diverse team of language enthusiasts, supporting our aims to deliver top-quality content to clients all over the globe. 

The role:

• Full-time (37.5 hours), permanent
• Salary: £23,400 - £26,000 (dependant on experience)
• Checking content that has been translated and proofread by our expert linguists, offering a final QA check before delivery
• Checking the correct inputting of translations in localisation software
• Providing constructive feedback to translators after QA checks
• Documenting feedback related to quality assurance checks
• Actively proposing solutions to drive improvement of content quality standards
• Reporting on key issues and identifying root causes

About you:

• Impeccable attention to detail

• Strong proofreading/editing skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Familiar with QA software/LQA models
• Passion and interest in languages/translation
• Desirable: advanced language skills in non-Latin script languages (e.g. Japanese, Russian, Arabic)
