About The Role

SMT TEC are seeking an Application Specialist with a background in Microsoft Dynamics F&O!

SMT TEC have the opportunity to work innovatively in an international working environment, where you can continuously develop and optimize business applications. With your specialist knowledge this role will  play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our applications and provide high-quality support to our internal users.

What you will be doing:

• Managing, configuring and maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics ERP stack within SMT.
• Conduct research into improvements for the applications and translate this into improvement proposals.
• Make recommendations for improvements and take a proactive role in the implementation of your proposals
• Translate and implement the functional needs into technical solutions and solving technical issues related to the application
• Support internal users with 2nd and 3rd line issues
• Work with international colleagues and suppliers to promote the use or integration of applications with the aim of guaranteeing a seamless user experience.
• Act as a product owner of the ERP solution, documenting the application processes, manuals and procedures.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

In order to set you up for success, we look for the following skills and experience:

• A relevant IT education with proven experience as a functional application manager.
• Knowledge of, or experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics D365F&O solution and potential older AX versions
• Naturally curious about developments in your field and keep up to date with the latest developments
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• An enterprising team player who puts cooperation and results first
• Able to work from own initiative when it comes to opportunities for process optimization.

Desirable:

• Experience working with Dynamics 365 CE
