We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and provide targeted support to students.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver lessons under the guidance of a classroom teacher, ensuring students are engaged and making progress.
• Provide support and guidance to other Teaching Assistants, sharing your expertise and best practices.
• Assist in planning and preparing resources for lessons, tailoring materials to meet the needs of individual students.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Ability to lead and deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of a teacher.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
