Who we're looking for

Seat Unique is in an exciting period of growth. With plans for international expansion and a growing list of partners, we are looking for a Sales Manager to grow our offline sales team and manage the Manchester-based sales team. The successful candidate will have invaluable industry experience, strong leadership skills, and a sales-driven attitude. 

 

We're in the live events business, which means in-person events are our core. This translates to our company culture, and this role requires the candidate to be in the office five days a week at our Manchester office. This in-person environment fosters agility. Being together allows our team to make quick decisions and adapt to the constant changes in our industry.

Requirements

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the Seat Unique sales team.

Your role will involve:

  • Managing and Growing the Sales Team: Lead and expand the Manchester-based sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Converting Enquiries: Handle inbound sales enquiries and convert them into sales.
  • Identifying New Leads: Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads.
  • Building New Business and Closing Sales: Develop new business opportunities and close sales effectively.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proactively manage and build relationships with new clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction.
  • Reporting on Sales Performance: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights to the senior leadership team.
  • Planning and Fulfilling Sales Activities: Plan and execute sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets.

Skills and Experience

While these qualifications are highly regarded, we appreciate the value of diverse experiences. You don't need all of them, but they could include:

  • Industry Experience: Have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in the live events and hospitality industry.
  • Professional Phone Manner: Have a confident and professional phone manner.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with high-net-worth individuals (HWIs) and corporate clients.
  • Brand Representation: Be confident in representing the Seat Unique brand.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and growing sales teams.
  • Sales-Driven Attitude: A strong sales-driven attitude with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

£35k - £40k + quarterly bonus + share options + benefits.
