Responsibilities
- Diagnose gas heating system breakdowns and identify faults
- Carry out repairs and replace faulty components as necessary
- Conduct thorough safety checks on gas heating systems and appliances
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance processes to clients
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance of gas heating systems
- Keep accurate records of work carried out, including parts used and time taken
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and safety regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
- Experience as a Gas safe Breakdown engineer
- Gas Safe registered
- Extensive knowledge of gas heating systems and appliances
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving license
