Commercial Pricing Executive

Location: Skelmersdale

We’re looking for a team member to drive the company’s growth by supporting our business transformation initiative. This important position requires exceptional communication, analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to implement change.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gather and organise multiple sources of data to generate monthly KPIs and reports on sales prospect to quoted, order won, order processed, cash collected and customer delivery.
  • Improve the overall data collection process.
  • Support in reporting on the opportunity pipeline, order intake by model, market and customer – showing number of vehicles, revenue and margin.
  • Create and maintain customer profile documents.
  • Develop and document standard and options warranty pricing for new and existing products with effective revision control. 
  • Support in the investment appraisal processes by processing data to support building business cases.
  • Report on demo performance and analyse customer satisfaction surveys to inform further process improvements.
  • Participate in the implementation of new ways of working that support the Sales and Commercial team in the efficient delivery of customer enquiries. This process could include pricing, demo scheduling and development of system driven product specs.
  • Support cost control initiatives, where appropriate.
  • Forecast future market trends, market opportunities and provide competitive benchmarking.
  • Gather and analyse statistical data where required.
  • Team working and create project Gantt charts. 
  • Supporting all commercial functions needs.
  • Any other reasonable management request that ensures the harmonious and smooth running of the department.

  • Strong knowledge of the bus industry as well as emerging market analysis techniques within the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and the ability to improve business processes. 
  • An understanding of the green agenda and some government policy.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal customers.
  • Ability to plan activities, meet assigned schedules and achieve planned targets and objectives.
  • Flexibility as some travel may be required at various locations mainly in the UK.
  • Ability to compile and report on data sets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an excellent grasp of Excel.
