What you'll do....

• As a Lead Exterior designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our vehicles. Together with a team of talented designers, you will create innovative and appealing exterior designs that captivate customers as well as build and reinforce our brand image. 
• Joining our world-class design team offers you the opportunity to unleash your creativity and passion for automotive design. With a clear directive to create fresh and exciting designs, you'll have the platform to make a significant impact in the automotive industry. This role presents an exhilarating opportunity to contribute to ground-breaking innovations and shape the future of vehicle aesthetics.
• You will effectively communicate design concepts, rationale, and vision to stakeholders through presentations, visual aids, and clear documentation. Your communication skills are essential for aligning stakeholders and obtaining buy-in for design decisions.
• Lead design reviews, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and incorporating necessary adjustments while balancing design aspirations with technical feasibility, manufacturing constraints, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the design process, seeking opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and elevate design quality. This involves analysing feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices.

Requirements

Who you are....

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Design & proven experience as an Exterior designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, technical skills, and understanding of automotive design principles.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modelling software and Visualisation software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for innovation and a keen interest in the automotive industry. You should stay updated on emerging design trends, automotive technologies, and materials to incorporate innovative and cutting-edge elements into designs.
• Ready to work at a start-up/scale-up. Parallel to some of the most entrepreneurial and creative settings comes a streamlining of procedure and process for efficiency and we need you to be ready to work adaptably and have a strong sense of initiative.
