Your Dream Role:

We are seeking a Warranty Project Manager to manage the introduction and on boarding of a new global warranty, supplier recovery and reliability system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources, and create a comprehensive implementation strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how people use the product and past implementation projects to reach the “Standardised” stage. Including full process mapping for all markets
  • Liaise with clients/stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, ensuring the software solution aligns with their organisation’s goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients/stakeholders and the project team to understand the problem the system aims to solve.
  • Oversee the customisation and configuration of SaaS applications to fit specific organisation processes.
  • Ensure the software addresses unique business challenges identified during requirements gathering.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, clients, etc.) to foster synergy and ensure smooth project progress.
  • Pay attention to detail and enhance team coordination with each implementation experience.
  • Ensure full testing, sign off and pre and post implementation testing is completed.
  • Ensure all process, works instructions are clearly detailed and managed.
  • Develop of roll out plan for all parties and create a support system for post go live actions.
  • Ensure that financial policies, procedures, postings and requirements are fully understood, tracked and checked.

Skills and Experience:

  • Background in warranty and supplier recovery
  • Technical Knowledge: Understand industry terminology, standard business processes, and OEM warranty systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess technical documentation, interpret specifications, and analyse warranty data.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving abilities to address warranty-related issues.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and warranty and supplier recovery systems.
  • Warranty Management: Ideally, 5+ years of experience in a warranty management role.
  • Supplier Relations: Experience working with suppliers and vendors to resolve warranty-related issues.
  • Financial Forecasting: Assess future financial risk and forecast warranty costs liability.
  • Experience of legal policies and procedure relations to warranty
  • Highly motivated, organised, and methodical thinker
  • Ability to motivate a team and work remotely with key team members
