We looking for individuals to come and join the Richmond team in delivering high quality Health and Social Care training in a classroom environment.

If you are interested in developing new skills as a Trainer/Assessor and are motivated to join a small organisation with fresh ideas and new approaches, then we are keen to hear from you.

Full training will be given.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver supportive and inclusive learning opportunities in a face-to-face classroom environment to learners within the health and social care sector and provide regular feedback on progress and development.
  • Maintain up-to-date records that demonstrate individual and collective progress and attendance.
  • Continuously improve your own knowledge and understanding of developments within the health and social care sector and ensure that this is shared with colleagues for the benefit of all learners.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a health and social care setting, and a good knowledge of sector-specific practices and regulations
  • A desire to learn new skills and qualifications in teaching and supporting learners
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A good communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with learners, employers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and an adaptable approach to work.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct at all times, and an enthusiasm for continual professional development and lifelong learning.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold own NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Confident in Maths and English
  • Must have occupational experience within Health and Social Care.
  • Must be IT literate
  • Organisational skills are a must
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
