We are currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our Transport team at our Wigan site.  As a Transport Planner you will be contributing to the success of the Transport team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day planning of the transport operation, through the efficient planning of the transport operation. 

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days (05:00 - 17:00)

Salary: £31,000 Per Annum

As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the site, and will report directly to the site Operations Manager

Job responsibilities of Transport Planner include:

• Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on site and Outbased vehicles.
• Dealing with queries and issues by telephone and email from our customers, sub-contract haulier’s and warehousing sites.
• Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
• Maintaining, creating and updating spreadsheets and databases for customer reports.
• Reporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that arise
