What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will join our team in Manchester to support our activities with the R&D team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Designing and developing precision based engineering components such as instruments, spectrometry devices.
- Developing new and innovative design and drawings utilizing Solidworks.
- Utilising various computer aided design (CAD) techniques to design, simulate and test prototypes developed.
- Supporting the design and manufacturing process of "proof of concept devices" and prototypes within Spectrometry and analytical devices.
- Ensuring data and information accuracy throughout the project and supporting the project team with technical documentation .
