Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit!  Reporting to the Turbine Island Lead, the Senior Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for various Turbine Island design development activities. The Senior Mechanical Engineer shall work closely with multi-disciplined teams and the supply chain to help deliver the Turbine Island design. 

Your mission:

Heat Balance Diagrams: Develop and review Heat Balance Diagrams for the Turbine Island and conventional plant systems.
Team Collaboration: Work with operations, control, and instrumentation teams to integrate the Turbine Island operation philosophy.
Design Documentation: Create and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Layout Drawings, Component Sizing Calculations, Datasheets, and Specifications.
Optioneering & Design Studies: Lead and review Optioneering Studies, Decision Record Files, Design Descriptions, and Requirement Specifications.
⚙️ Design Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Turbine Island design into the overall power plant.
Technical Support: Act as the technical contact for Turbine Island interfaces and stakeholder activities.
Support Reviews: Participate in Design Reviews and HAZID/HAZOP studies with multidisciplinary teams.
️ Ensure Compliance: Adhere to statutory H&S policies, project quality, and the Quality Management System.
